Level 1: Discovery kiteboarder (3 to 6 hours)
The best way to discover kiteboarding!
By the end of this program, you will be ready to move to the next step: getting up on the board!
The first part of this program will take you through the steps of piloting a 2 lines kite on land.
You will also learn about safety and how important it is to the sport.
Furthermore, you will be taken through the steps of equipment set, launching and landing and control a 4 lines kite in the water.
Level 2: Intermediate kiteboarder (6 to 9 hours)
By the end of the intermediate program, you will get up on the board for your first ride.
During this course, you will improve kite piloting with power, body dragging, body dragging upwind, bodydragging with the board,
control the kite with board and waterstart.
Level 3: Independend kiteboarder
In this course it's all to becoming a independend kiteboarder and ride safe between other kiteboarders and ride upwind.
Your kite flying skills will be improved and you will learn how to control your direction and power, stop by edging, turning and jumping.
(This may all vary on the progress of the student)
At the end of the course we will evaluate your level and you will be certified with the IKO kiteboarder card.
With this card you can continue your training at other IKO centers or rent gear worldwide.

Kiteboarding lessons
Lessons are private or whit a maximum of 2 people and start at 9 a.m. at the St. Joris bay.
The student must be able to swim, be at least 12 years of age and be in good health condition.
All students will be equiped with a safety vest and helmet.
Please bring watershoes if possible, t-hirt or rash guard and sunscreen.
